Spiritual Highlights

Dr. Trice has been preaching and teaching on the Lord's battlefield for over thirty-five years. He has coordinated and directed many ministries in the areas of education, benevolence, counseling, finances, marriage, family, outreach, and music. Dr. Trice currently facilitates marriage, family, leadership and professional seminars all over the United States and abroad to diverse faith groups and organizations. Dr. Trice has written articles for professional, religious, and Christian organizations, and just recently presented groundbreaking research on domestic violence within Churches of Christ at the international American Psychological Association Conference. Dr. Trice is currently working with Spanish speaking couples and families to facilitate acculturation and enhance diversity issues that impact God's families.

Professional Background

Dr. Trice is a retired Lieutenant Commander of the United States Navy, with over twenty-two years of active duty experience in surface and sub-surface ship operations. He earned sub-specialties in Weapons Systems Acquisition and Management, Electronic, and Anti-submarine Warfare.

Dr. Trice is currently a counseling psychologist, and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in two private practices: The Foundation of Applied Biblical Counseling, and the Browning Therapy Group, in Los Alamitos, CA. He specializes in cognitive Christian counseling, couple and family therapy, and domestic violence. He is also certified to conduct financial counseling, and holds financial seminars to help couples and families. Dr. Trice is skilled and trained to minister to diverse church groups that include grief counseling, church and family conflicts and couple enhancement.

Education and Achievements

Dr. Trice is an Assistant professor on the faculty of the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Irvine, CA. Dr. Trice holds a Doctorate of Education Degree in Counseling Psychology, he has a BA degree, Fine Arts and Business Administration, an MS degree in Weapons Systems Acquisition and Management, and a MA degree in Counseling Psychology.

He serves on the board of directors of the Church of Christ Foundation, Pure Heart Vision, Searcy, AR, Philander Smith College, Little Rock, AR, and has served on several boards related to marriage, family and spiritual development. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, The Association of Christian Counselors, and the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
